New Board Elected at Spring General Meeting

The West Point Parents Club of Massachusetts held a fun-filled General Meeting in Dorchester on May 3, 2026, highlighted by the election of our new 2026-2027 board:

• President - Diana Jud ‘28

• Co-Vice Presidents - Angela Kakabeeke ‘29 and Kirsten Lord ‘27

• Treasurer - North Grounsell ‘29

• Secretary - Cheri McIlroy ’29

Committees for the upcoming academic year will be chaired by:

• Amy Grounsell - Bus Coordinator

• Angela Kakakeeke - Membership Chair

• Michael Henrich - Webmaster

• Wendy Hansen - Army Navy Coordinator

• Kirsten Lord - Hail & Farewell Coordinator

• Michele Martin - Firstie gifts

• Annissa Essaibi George - Holly Ball

• Claire and Matt Trudeau - Boodle Coordinators

• Victoria and John Petracca - Tailgate Coordinators

Upcoming club-supported events include:

• Hail & Farewell - 6/13

• R-Day - 6/29

• Tame the Beast - 7/18

• March Back - 8/10

• A-Day - 8/15

• 1st General Meeting - September TBD

• Tailgate (Family Weekend) - 10/10

• Army-Navy Game - 12/12 (Club reserves hotel block)

Big thanks to Annissa and Doug George (son Charlie '28) for hosting the club's social hour and meeting at their Boston home.

Several new club member families from the recently appointed Class of 2030 met fellow USMA parents, learning more about what's to come and building new bonds. We look forward to welcoming more Class of 2030 families in the weeks and months to come!
